I was born around Philadelphia, spent my formative years in Seattle, and now reside in the Midwest. I went to Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, for my undergraduate studies, majoring in East Asian Languages and Cultures, with a minor in Biomedical Ethics. I then attended law school at the University of Wisconsin, graduated in May 2003, and was admitted to the bar a couple weeks after. I loved law school. Did not like being a lawyer. Which is why I decided to become a writer.
I've studied and traveled extensively through Asia, and spent some time working at the US Embassy in Beijing. I love to read, I love to write, but what I love best of all is proving to myself that dreams do come true.
Oh, and I like poodles. And cats.
Debby Giusti is a medical technologist who loves working with test tubes and petri dishes almost as much as she loves to write. Growing up as an Army Brat, Debby met and married her husband--then a Captain in the Army--at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Together they traveled throughout the world, raised three wonderful Army Brats of their own and have now settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Debby balances her writing with family and church commitments, as well as occasional moments of wanderlust.
Debby’s third Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense, MIA: MISSING IN ATLANTA, is a March 2008 release, and her fourth book, COUNTDOWN TO DEATH, will launch her Magnolia Medical series in October. In addition to full-length fiction, Debby has written magazine articles for Southern Lady, Woman’s World, Our Sunday Visitor, Army and Family, and served for over twelve years on the editorial advisory board of ADVANCE for Administrators of the Laboratory.

She lives in the country with her husband of ten years. They share their lives with eight cats and one perplexed dog. A native of one of the colder states, she loves to ice skate and watch hockey.
